As part of BEPRO Network’s continuous work to bring cross-chain functionalities to the protocol, you can now move BEPRO from Ethereum to Moonbeam.
If you hold BEPRO on Ethereum and want to move it to Moonbeam, it’s possible to do it via Meter bridge to the Moonbeam Network.
How to get $BEPRO token on Moonbeam
Bridge BEPRO from Ethereum to Moonbeam Network
Bridging BEPRO is a good option if you already hold BEPRO tokens in the Ethereum Network and want to use those same tokens in the Moonbeam Network.
Using a Bridge, you’ll basically transfer those tokens from one network to the other. They will be taken out of circulation in the Ethereum Network and transferred to Moonbeam.
In order to perform the bridging, we suggest using Meter.io. Follow the steps below:
Step 1: Go to Meter.io and connect Wallet
Go to https://passport.meter.io/ and connect your wallet.
Step 2: Select Origin & Destination
Choose Ethereum in the “From” section on top, BEPRO as the token, and select Moonbeam Mainnet as “To” Network as the destination. Then, insert the number of tokens you want to send from one Network to the other.
Step 3: Start Transfer
Allow meter.io to use your BEPRO. You’ll get the following Metamask popup — You’ll only need to perform this step once.
Step 4: Confirm the transaction
You’ll get the following screen while the transaction awaits confirmation:
And that’s it! After transaction confirmation, the tokens will make their way onto Moonbeam through Meter’s bridge.
Step 5: Configure the Moonbeam network on your MetaMask
If you haven’t configured the Moonbeam network in your MetaMask, please do so by using Moonbeams’ documentation: Head to https://docs.moonbeam.network/tokens/connect/metamask and click “Connect to Moonbeam”. You’ll be prompted with the following MetaMask popups:
Click Approve and Switch network.
Step 6: Add BEPRO as a custom token in your MetaMask
Open Metamask, select the ‘Assets’ tab and click on ‘import tokens’. The token’s address in Moonbeam is the following: 0x4EdF8E0778967012D46968ceadb75436d0426f88
Copy and paste the Moonbeam BEPRO token smart contract address into the Token Contract Address field, as shown above. Click Next.
You’re all set and your BEPRO is ready to use on Moonbeam!
You’ll be able to bridge your BEPRO back to Ethereum Mainnet using the same exact process. Just switch the “To” and “From” networks on Meter and repeat the process.
