What is Binance Smart Chain (BSC)?
Binance Smart Chain (BSC) is Binance’s EVM compatible smart contract blockchain. BSC is considered “CeDeFi” in that it has a balance between decentralisation and certain centralised features that allow it to be more scalable and cheaper to use for end users. One of the key benefits of BSC is that its gas fees are significantly cheaper than Ethereum’s. This means that dapps on BSC are much cheaper to use than equivalent dapps on Ethereum. Since BSC is completely EVM compatible, projects can essentially fork existing Ethereum dapps’ code and with minimal changes, deploy them onto BSC.
Binance Smart Chain also has a BEP-20 standard (similar to Ethereum’s ERC-20) that allows BSC to “wrap” different projects’ tokens into one fungible standard in order to be freely exchanged, sent and used in various DeFi / dapp use-cases. One of the key advantages of BEP-20 is that other blockchains’ tokens such as Polkadot’s DOT can be wrapped as a BEP-20 token.

Since accessing our codebase requires the $BEPRO token, BSC entrepreneurs will naturally need to have $BEPRO on BSC. So that’s why BEPRO Network is going to create a two-way bridge for $BEPRO between Ethereum’s ERC-20 standard and BSC’s BEP-20 standard. We want to make this a robust bridge where $BEPRO tokens can freely travel from one blockchain to another. BEPRO Network also intends on making $BEPRO available for CeDeFi on Binance Smart Chain’s ecosystem of Dapps, including DEXs, exchanges and other use-cases.
