The warm days of September have come to an end and we’re on the brink of a new quarter. This month was packed with awesome LayerX Talks, successful hackathons, and cool events. September was also the month where we also spilled the beans on the upcoming Bepro Network platform updates. Let’s recap some of the cool stuff that happened at LayerX in September.

Road to SmartCon
We kicked off the month by hosting the Road to SmartCon at DeHouse Porto. The event was an exclusive preview event leading up to the highly anticipated SmartCon 2023 by Chainlink that will take place in Barcelona on October 2–3.
We had a full house to learn from Solange Gueiros, a leading blockchain developer from Chainlink, about the power of self-executing contracts, oracles and their real-world applications. The audience engaged in the presentation to ask questions and share their own experience, making the event a huge success.

LayerX Talks with ETHBolivia
We had the pleasure of talking to Huascar Miranda, Senior Blockchain Developer and organizer of ETHBolivia. During our conversation, we discussed the challenges of organizing a community-powered hackathon for the first and delved into the significant role that hackathons play in fostering growth and innovation within the Ethereum ecosystem.

Meet Mx. X ETHChicago!
This year’s edition of ETHChicago Hackathon was a huge success. Chicagoan builders made a strong presence to the three-day event that featured many inspiring talks, workshops, and of course, a thrilling hackathon hosted by TAIKAI. The talent showcased in each project was nothing short of impressive, making this one to be remembered.
To honor the event and our close partnership with ETHChicago, we created Mx. X ETHChicago, an exclusive collection of our very own Mx. X. This time with a hint of Chicago-style deep-dish pizza and the city as the backdrop.

TAIKAI
Conclusion of the $TKAI Beta-testing
Last month, we announced that the beta-test for our $TKAI token Withdraw and Deposit feature would run in September. Following the conclusion of the testing phase, we would like to thank the almost 100 applicants who applied to test the new feature. We couldn’t select everyone, but there will be more collaboration opportunities in the future for the upcoming TAIKAI Garden features.
The feedback from testers was very good, with few bugs reported, which means the feature is in a good development stage. Hopefully, we’ll have more news for you very soon!

ETHSafari Hackathon
ETHSafari came to a close this week and it’s safe to say it was the event knocked it out of the park. 260 participants hacked their way in the largest ETH event in Africa, showcasing their remarkable projects. There was also time for many inspiring talks, workshops, and networking opportunities in Kenya’s scenic landscape, making the event an unforgettable experience for both participants and organizers.

Bepro Network
New bounty types coming soon!
We’ve been very successful in our mission to create a platform where developers are able to collaborate, solve bounties, and earn crypto. Now, it’s time to expand the bounty system on Bepro Network to include a wider audience.
Bepro Network will soon be a platform for everyone: from writers and UX/UI designers to marketers and researchers. That means marketing bounties, design bounties, video editing bounties, social media management bounties — opportunities for all. By broadening our scope, we’ll be creating a more vibrant and inclusive ecosystem and making it easier for organizations to find the talent they need to further develop their projects.

As usual, our team was hard at work, crafting a fresh batch of insightful articles.
